Biography

UW This Season: Marcon adds experience and depth to the Cowgirl diving team. She will look to improve on her top 15 finish at the Mountain West Conference Championships.

At Wyoming: Junior: (2009-10)- Marcon put together an excellent junior campaign for the Cowgirl diving team. She placed 11th at the MWC Championships on the 1-meter springboard and put together a solid diving round at the NCAA Zone `E' diving championships. She competed in both the 1- and 3-meter springboards at the Zone `E' Diving Championships. Sophomore: (2008-09)- Marcon sat out her sophomore season due to an injury. Freshman: (2007-08)- In her freshman season, Marcon competed at the 2008 MWC Championships and earned Academic All-Conference. She was fifth on the Cowgirl roster in the 1-meter, and fourth in the 3-meter. At the Conference Championships, Marcon finished 17th in 1-meter and 19th in platform. She earned her first letter award as a Cowgirl.

High School: Marcon was an All-American both in the pool and in the classroom. She earned diving All-America honors her junior and senior years and Academic All-America honors as a senior. She was named the district diver of the year as a senior and placed at the district meet all four years of her high school career. She also placed at the regional meet as a sophomore, junior and senior. She was also a gymnast and competed in the sport until high school. She dove club for the Woodlands Diving Academy.

Personal: She was born on June 28, 1989 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She is the daughter of Angela and Michael and has a sister, Shana, and a brother, Mathew. She is majoring in geology.

Top Marks at UW: 1-meter (6 dives)- 276.55; 3-meter (6 dives)- 254.24; platform (5 dives)- 163.90.
