She swam for head coach Kevin Taylor. She was the team captain her senior season. She was a First Team All-League selection all four years at Northgate High School. She was named team MVP her junior and senior seasons. She was named All-American her freshman year in the 400 freestyle relay. Personal: Woods was born on Sept. 2, 1994 in Berkley, Calif. She is the daughter of Moira and has one sister Michelle and three brothers Ryan, Steven and Kevin. Her sister played water polo at Cal, as her brother Steven swam at the University of Pacific. She plans on majoring in Zoology at UW. She was also recruited by Fresno State, CSU Bakersfield, Washington State and Colorado State.
