Biography

At Wyoming:
Junior- Hilton set the third fastest times in school history in both the 1000 and 1650 freestyle in his junior season. Hilton proved to be one of the best swimmers in the conference by placing 6th in the 1650 freestyle at the conference championships. He earned First Team All-MWC for this efforts in the mile. Hilton was awarded his third consecutive letter award at UW.
Sophomore- Hilton contributed to the Cowboys in the distance freestyle events throughout the season. At the 2008 MWC Championships, Hilton came away with a seventh place finish in the 1650 freestyle. On his split for the 100 free, Hilton had a time of 9:31.44 which is fourth all-time at UW. He also competed in the 200 and 500 freestyle at the conference championships. Hilton earned his second letter award.
Freshman- As a true freshman, Hilton contributed greatly to the distance freestyle events for the Cowboys. At the 2007 conference championships, he placed eighth in the 1650 freestyle and 14th in the 500 freestyle. He swam UW's fastest time of the season in both the 1000 and 1650 freestyle. He earned his first letter award.

High School: Hilton placed in the top-eight of the Colorado 5A State Championships in both the 200 and 500 freestyles as a junior and senior. He was voted as the Sand Creek MVP following his junior and senior seasons and was a team captain his senior year. He was on the honor roll all eight semesters of high school and was also a National Honor Society member. He lettered three times in both swimming and cross country.

Personal: He was born on March 23, 1986 in Germany. He is the son of Jacqueline and Mark and has a brother Sean. His major is undeclared.
