Biography

UW This Season: Bogner will be looking to finish his Cowboy career with more top finishes at the Mountain West Conference Championships and will look to compete at the NCAA Zone E diving championships for the third consecutive year.

At Wyoming: Junior: (2009-10)- Bogner continued his success as a Cowboy diver during his junior year, placing in in the top 10 in all his diving events at the MWC championships. Bogner could not duplicate his 2009 MWC Championship performance but still was able to place in the top 10, in the 1- and 3-meter springboard, as well as placing ninth on the platform. He placed fifth on the 1-meter springboard with a score of 332.50, he also placed sixth on the 3-meter spring board with a score of 357.80. His finishes on the 1- and 3-meter springboards qualified him for the 2010 NCAA Zone `E' diving championships where he placed 8th on the 3-meter and 12th on the 1-meter. Sophomore: (2008-09)- In his sophomore year, Bogner proved to be one of the top divers in the MWC. At the 2009 MWC Championships, Bogner placed second on the 1-meter with a score of 326.40. That score gave Bogner the fourth best score on 1-meter in UW history. He also placed fifth on platform and seventh on 3-meter. Bogner earned First Team All-MWC on 1-meter and platform and qualified for the NCAA Zone `E' Championships. At Zones, Bogner's highest finish came on the platform where he placed 15th on platform. He also earned a 15th-place finish in the finals on 3-meter. Bogner earned his second letter award and was Academic All-Conference for the first time in his career. Freshman: (2007-08)- As a freshman, Bogner made an immediate impact for the Cowboys on the diving boards that included winning the 1-meter MWC Championship. Against Air Force, Bogner set the third highest mark at UW at the 1-meter (6 dives). The score of 323.25 is also the fourth best in the MWC history. Later in the season Bogner continued his success at the MWC Championships in Oklahoma City, Okla. Along with his 1-meter championship, he finished fourth in the 3-meter dives, and fifth in the platform at conference, helping the Cowboys score the most points at the MWC championships. He earned his first UW letter award and was also an MWC All-Conference selection.

High School: Bogner was a Colorado State finalist twice during his high school career and qualified for the state meet three times. He holds the Littleton High School record in both the six and 11 dive events. He was a team captain as a junior and senior. He was a four-year diving letterwinner and also competed for the Mile High Dive Club.

Personal: Born July 10, 1989 in Englewood, Colo. He is the son of Diane and Gary and has an older sister, Kara. He is majoring in computer science.
