Summary

Biography

At Wyoming:
Junior- King placed in the top-15 of two separate events at the 2006 MWC Championships. He swam to a ninth place finish in the 1650 freestyle and a 15th place finish in the 200 butterfly. He competed in every meet while earning his third letter award.
Sophomore- King finished fifth in the 1650 freestyle at the 2005 MWC Championships and earned Second Team All-MWC honors in the event. He also placed 14th in the 200 yard butterfly and 16th in the 500 freestyle at the championships. He earned his second letter award.
Freshman- He placed 13th in both the 200 and 1650 freestyles and 15th in the 500 freestyle at the 2004 MWC Championships. He also swam on the 800 freestyle relay team at conference.

High School: All-American consideration in the 100, 200 and 500 freestyles from 1999-2002. He was a member of the #3 ranked high school team in the nation in 2002. He was also recruited by Alabama, West Virginia and Evansville.

Personal: Born January 4, 1983 in Chattanooga, Tenn. He is the son of David and Jill King and is majoring in secondary education-social science.
