Hometown Biography Summary Biography Junior (2016-17): Helped the Cowgirls earn valuable points in a number of duals in her junior campaign... Swam a career-best time in the 50 backstroke at the Colorado Mesa Invitational, placing ninth... Also finished fourth in the 200 back at the CMU Invite... Finished fourth in the 200 freestyle against Colorado School of Mines... Finished fourth in the 100 backstroke and seventh in the 200 backstroke against Colorado Mesa... Clocked a 2:11.81 in the 200 backstroke against New Mexico to finish fourth.  Sophomore (2015-16): Salzer took part in a number of meets for UW during her sophomore campaign. She recorded times of 2:03.19 in the 200 free and a 2:10.97 in the 200 back against Border War rival Colorado State. Salzer also swam in the double-dual with Air Force and NAU, as she had a 58.05 in the 100 back and 2:10.37 in the 200 back.  Freshman (2014-15): Salzer saw limited action for the Cowgirls during her first season at Wyoming. She was a part of the fifth place 400 freestyle relay team in the dual with Denver. She finished 10th in the 100 backstroke against Air Force with a final time of 1:01.05 and eighth in the 100 backstroke against New Mexico with a mark of 1:00.72. In the 200 backstroke against UNM she finished 10th with a mark of 2:13.90 and eighth against New Mexico State with a time of 1:58.82. She also came away with an eighth place finish against NMSU in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:00.61.  High School: Graduate of Rock Bridge High School. Salzer helped her high school win its first ever swimming and diving state championship. She also paced Rock Bridge's state champion 400 freestyle relay team. She competed at USA Swimming's Junior National Championships helping her team in the relay events.  Personal: Daughter of William and Susan Salzer. Her mother was on the swimming team at Kentucky, while her father was on the rowing team at Boston University. Born on December 2, 1995. Undecided on major at UW.
