Summary

Biography

Senior (2014-15): Heussner finished third against New Mexico State in the 1-meter springboard with a total score of 245.30. Finished seventh at the Wyoming Diving Invite on the 3-meter springboard with a score of 197 and sixth on the 1-meter board with 206.30. She also finished sixth in the 1-meter diving event against Colorado State with a tally of 212.03. At the MW Championships, Heussner finished 19th in the Platform diving event, 22nd in the 1-meter and 18th in the 3-meter event.

Sophomore: (2012-13): Heussner appeared in four events for the Cowgirls during her sophomore season. She scored a season-best 229.35 in the 3-meter springboard in the Cowgirls dual with Northern Colorado. She recorded a season-best score of 233.40 in the 1-meter springboard against Boise State.

Freshman: (2011-12): Heussner dove well in her freshman season for the Cowgirls gaining Division I experience. Her best finishes came in the final dual of the season against Colorado State, finishing third on the 1-meter springboard with a mark of 253.88. Against CSU, she finished fourth on the 3-meter with a score of 235.28. She also competed well against Air Force taking fourth on the 1-meter (228.53) and fifth on the 3-meter (196.95).

High School: Heussner joins the Cowgirls from Lamar Consolidated High School in Sugar Land, Texas, with a great diving background. She has seen international diving experience competing at the Camo Invitational in Montreal, Canada, in 2009. She holds multiple diving records at Lamar High School including the freshman six-dive record, overall six-dive record, and 11-dive record on both the 1-and 3-meter springboards. Heussner made progress year-to-year including second-place finish at 4A region six districts, fifth at 4A regionals in 2008, first-place finishes at districts and regionals, followed up by an 11th-place finish at the state meet in 2009. Heussner rounded out her junior year with a first in districts and regionals followed up by ninth at the state meet in 2010. She was also the Lamar Consolidated Independent School District MVP diver during the 2009-10 season.

Personal: Heussner was born in Sugar Land, Texas, on June 12, 1993. She is the daughter of Rick and Kamara Heussner. She has an older brother, Richie, and a younger brother, Peyton. She is majoring in international studies at Wyoming.
