Summary

Biography

At Wyoming:
Junior- Jones became a solid contributor for the Cowboys in the distance freestyle events. He helped the Cowboy relays during the dual meet season and at the 2009 MWC Championships. At the conference championships, Jones placed 20th in the 1650 freestyle. During the season, Jones had top finishes in the distance events, including a second place finish in the 200 freestyle against UNLV. As a junior, Jones earned his second letter award.
Sophomore- At the 2008 MWC Championships Jones finished 22nd in the 200 free, and 18th in the 1650 free. He competed in all of the freestyle events as a sophomore for the Cowboys. He excelled in the distance freestyle and was third on the roster in the 1000, and 1650 free. He earned his first letter award.
Freshman- As a freshman, Jones added depth to the Cowboy freestyle, especially the distance events.

High School: Jones helped lead Rockhurst High School to the Missouri State Championship in both 2005 and 2006. He was an All-State and All-Metro selection from 2002-06. He is the Rockhurst High record holder in the 200 and 500 freestyles and 400 freestyle relay. He lettered all four years of high school. He was a great student and was on the Magnis Honor Roll, graduated from honors school and was a National Honor Society member.

Personal: He was born on July 7, 1987 in Kansas City, Mo. He is the son of Louisa and has a younger sister, Allison. He is majoring in business administration.
