2010-11... Kelting finished the indoor season with four top ten finishes, along with a personal record in the 3000m at the MWC Championships with a time of 8:21.28, good for an eigth place finish. He also competed well during the outdoor season, racing in seven meets. Kelting finished in the top 10 five times, two of which were at the Front Range Championships in the 1500m and 3000m. Kelting was chosen as the most improved athlete by the coaching staff. 2009-10... Kelting was the cross country team's most consistent performer throughout the year. A three-time letterwinner, he followed up an 11th-place showing at the Wyoming Invitational with a 24th-place finish at the MWC Championships in a time of 25:34. He also was the highest Wyoming finisher at the NCAA Regionals, placing 63rd with a time of 32:23. During the outdoor season, Kelting took the top mark in the 5,000-meter run in 14:53.66. 2008-09... Kelting competed in four of seven meets in 2008. He had a solid showing at the Wyoming Invitational, where he finished 24th with a time of 23:58. He backed it up with his second-fastest 8k time in his career at the Montana State Invitational in Bozeman, Mont. He finished 32nd with a time of 26:06. During the indoor track and field season, Kelting ran the sixth-fastest time in UW history in the 5,000-meter run while at the Husky Invite with a time of 14:36.08. 2007-08... A letterman in both cross country and indoor track and field, Kelting made big strides in cross country as he placed 35th in his first-ever MWC Championship. He ran the 8K with a time of 26:51. High School... Kelting was a two-sport athlete in cross country and track. In cross country, he was an All-Conference and All-State selection during his senior year. He was a two-time State Champion in both the mile and the 3,200-meter run. His outdoor track credentials included All-Conference honors in 2006 and 2007, while earning All-State in the 4-by-400 and 4-by-800-meter races in those same seasons. Personal...
