2010-11... McAfee showed her versatility throughout the year, as she ran in six events during the cross country season, with her best finish coming in the Woody Greeno Invite, where she finished 38th out of 211 runners. She also finished second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Potts Invite during the outdoor track season. Among her achievements were setting three personal records during the indoor and outdoor season. 2009-10... After gaining some valuable racing experience in her freshman year, McAfee improved even more in her second season. Her best finish came at the Rocky Mountain Shootout, where she finished 92nd out of 169 runners. She added a 67th-place finish in the MWC Championships with a time of 25:16, and was 127th in the NCAA Regionals. She also set the second-fastest mark on the team in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at 12:29.19 at the CSU Pueblo Open. 2008-09... McAfee joined the UW track and field team halfway through the season. She competed during the outdoor season and had her best race at the Potts Invitational in Boulder, Colo., where she placed 10th in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 12:02.44. High School... McAfee lettered as a senior in cross country and was a part of the track and field team while at Kelly Walsh High School. Academically, McAfee was on the honor roll all four years. Personal...
