Jennifer will be counted on as one of the top hurdlers for the Cowgirls this season. She brings a good mix of experience and speed to the team. She placed eighth in the MWC Championships in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.93 seconds. She won the Robert Shine Invite in the 55-meter hurdles, blazing to a time of 8.05. She also finished 16th in the Arizona State Invite in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.76. She currently owns the sixth-fastest 100-meter hurdle time in Cowgirl history at 13.84. 2008-09... Jennifer was an outdoor regional qualifier in the 100-meter hurdles after her seventh-place finish at the Mountain West Conference Championships. She earned her third straight Academic All-Conference award for her hard work in the classroom. 2007-08... Jennifer made some huge strides for the Cowgirls during the season. She ran a season-best in the 55-meter hurdles in Laramie at the Robert Shine Invite, with a converted time of 8.63. During the outdoor season, she ran a season-best time in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.18. While at the MWC Championships, she just missed running in the finals in the 100-meter hurdles with her time of 14.35 and a 10th-place finish. She was named to the Academic All-Conference team during the spring. 2006-07... As a member of the team her freshman year, Jennifer nabbed a 10th- place finish at the outdoor MWC Championships in the 100-meter hurdles. For her excellence in the classroom, Jennifer was honored with an Academic All-Conference award. High School... Jennifer was a four-year letterman in volleyball and track, along with lettering twice in basketball. She was the state champion four straight years in the 100 hurdles, and won the 300 hurdles in 2005 and the 4-by-100-meter relay in 2006. She was selected to the all-state team four years in track and one year in volleyball. Personal... Jennifer was born Jan. 30, in Scottsbluff, Neb.
