Biography

2016-17: Specialized in the high jump, competing in three indoor meets and five outdoor meets…indoors, took second at the Rocky Mountain Classic…outdoors, took third in a dual at Colorado State with a personal best of 5-3.75…had top-five finishes at the CU Invite and Jack Christiansen Invite.
 
2015-16: Competed in three indoor meets and one outdoor meet…posted top-five finishes in all six of her individual event competitions during the indoor season…highest indoor finish was second place in the pole vault at the season-opening Power Meet…outdoors, took seventh in the pole vault and 12th in the high jump at the Tom Benich Invite, recording the No. 10 UW All-Time Mark for the pole vault at 10-2.
 
2014-15: Competed in two meets during the indoor season...cleared 4-5 in the high jump at the Power Meet on Dec. 12 and the Rocky Mountain Classic on Feb. 20...did not compete outdoors.
 
Before Wyoming: Competed for Midland High School in Midland, Texas, during her prep career...competed in track, volleyball and swimming...earned academic all-state honors. 
 
Personal: The daughter of Dan and Karen Bertelson...has two sisters, Sarah and Bri, and three brothers, Ben, John and Sam...her father played football at Wyoming...her brother Ben played baseball at Air Force...majoring in mechanical engineering at Wyoming.
