Sarah spent the '08-09 season with a lingering back injury that kept her from competing for the Cowgirls. 2007-08... Sarah finished the 2008 season ranked 17th and 18th All-Time in UW history in the 20lb weight throw and hammer throw respectively. Last season she was ranked tenth in the Mountain West Conference in the 20lb weight throw and 13th in the hammer throw. This season she has been named team captain for the women's throwing crew. 2006-07... Sarah spent her freshman season learning the very technical 20lb weight and hammer events. She was ranked 15th in the conference in the hammer throw event as a true freshman. Sarah was also ranked 11th during the Indoor season for the shot put event in the MWC rankings. High School... Sarah was a three sport athlete that lettered in basketball, volleyball and track. She was All-State for two years in both basketball and track. Personal... Sarah was born Jan. 14, in Ogden, Utah.
