Casey was a finalist and scorer in both the 35lb. weight throw and hammer throw events at the 2006 MWC Championships. Lass has made big strides this fall in training and looks to contend for All-Conference honors at the MWC meet in 2007. He should have a great shot at hitting NCAA Regional qualifying marks in the hammer throw. Was the class 2A Wyoming state champion in the shot put and discus throws as a senior in high school.
