High School... Lane was a four-year letter winner in cross country and earned letters in outdoor and indoor track three years. She was the cross country team captain in her senior year and an All-Conference and All-State runner in her junior year. She holds a school record in the indoor 2-mile run, which she set in her sophomore season. An honor-roll student, she also was involved in Laramie Choice, an organization which strives for substance-free high schools. Personal... Lane was born Feb. 28 to Lee and Jeannie Lane in Laramie. She has two younger brothers, Michael and Ryan. She will major in political science.
