Summary

Biography

2008-09... Amanda competed during the indoor season and redshirted during the outdoor season. Academically she earned her third straight Academic All-MWC award for her hard work in the major of mathematics.

2007-08... A letter-winner during the indoor season, Amanda had a very successful season for the Cowgirl sprinters. She set her personal best in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.38 while competing at the Robert Shine Invitational. While at the Mountain West Conference Championships in Colorado Springs, Colo., she qualified for the finals in the 400-meter dash with personal best time of 57.80. For her accomplishments in the classroom she was named to the Academic All-MWC team.

2006-07... Amanda has been a solid performer for the Cowgirl sprint squad with her fourth place finish at the indoor Wyoming Invite in the 400m, with a time of 1:01.30. In the classroom Gordon was awarded with Academic All-Conference honors.

2005-06... At the Jim Click Shootout, Gordon ran a personal best, 58.26 in the 400m race. Amanda placed 11th at the indoor Air Force Invite with a time of 26.15 in the 200m.

High School... Amanda was a four year letter winner in track, she also played basketball and volleyball. There she earned All-State honors her last three seasons.

Personal... Amanda was born Aug. 14, in Cheyenne, Wyo. She is the daughter of John and Charlene. Amanda is the oldest of three children, Sarah and David.
