2008-09... Kekoa's highlights from the 2008-09 season were indoor at the MWC Championships where he ran the sixth-fastest 400-meter dash (48.76), good for seventh place for the `Pokes. The outdoor season was just as successful as he ran the seventh-fastest 400-meter hurdle event in UW history with a time of 52.72.

2007-08... Kekoa finished the 2008 outdoor season on a high note as he placed sixth at the Mountain West Conference Championships in Fort Worth, Tex., in the 400-meter hurdles with his time of 52.98. During the indoor season he placed 12th at the MWC Championships in Colorado Springs, Colo., with his personal best time of 50.29 in the 400-meter dash.

2006-07... Spent last semester at home in Hawaii.

2005-06... Kekoa looks to improve on a 20th place finish in the 400-meter dash, where he ran a 50.50.

High School... Kekoa was a three sport athlete, competing in football, soccer and track. He was awarded with the senior of the year award for track.

Personal... Kekoa was born Jan. 14. He is majoring in kinesiology and intends to become an athletic trainer someday.
