2007-08... During the indoor season Michael set his personal best in the 3,000-meter race at the Adidas Invitational in Lincoln, Neb., with his fourth place finish and time of 8:32.85. While competing in the outdoor season he also re-wrote his own record book with his personal best in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 3:53.67 at the Victor Lopez Invitational in Houston, Tex. Academically last year, Michael was awarded with the MWC Scholar Athlete Award as well as being named to the academic All-MWC team.

2006-07... As a letterwinner in both cross country and indoor track, Michael placed seventh at the MWC Championships in the 1 Mile race. Michael was also awarded with the conference Scholar Athlete Award and a member of the Academic All-Conference team.

2005-06... In the `06 Outdoor season, Michael placed 15th at the Drake Relays in the 5,000m with a time of 14:49.47.

2004-05... Michael was hampered with injury much of this season.

High School... At Columbine High School, Michael was a four-year letterman in cross country and track. There he was a three time All-Conference cross country selection, and once for track when he set a two mile school-record. His senior year he won the male athlete of the year award.

Personal... Michael was born Nov. 27th, 1983. He is the son of Kathy and Kerry Huntington. Michael is majoring in math and secondary education.
