Biography

2014-15: Ran one all-time top 10 Wyoming mark during the season...indoors helped the Cowboys run 3:14.69 in the 4x400 relay at the MW Championships, the third-fastest time in UW history...outdoors placed seventh in the 400 at the conference meet in a personal-best 48.86...ran a personal-best 22.23 in the 200 meters at the Cowpoke Open on May 1.

Before Wyoming: Exceptional athlete who ran track for one season in high school...won the 4A individual state title in the 400 meters with a school-record time of 48.4...also placed second in the 200 meters in 21.9...was a tight end on the football team and caught the game-winning touchdown in Kelly Walsh's 21-20 overtime victory over Natrona County in the Oil Bowl...earned all-conference honors and was honorable mention Super 25 on the football field...also earned a sportsmanship award from the Wyoming High School Activities Association...coached by Mark Hileman.

Personal: Son of Patrick and Sharron Carlson...has not declared a major at Wyoming.
