Biography

UW This Season: Berger enters fall camp as a veteran looking to add depth at wide receiver. He suffered an injury during spring drills and was limited in practice.

2014: Redshirted

2013: Berger played in nine games in 2013, catching two passes for 19 yards.

2012: In 11 games, Berger caught three balls for 36 yards. His best game of the season was at Idaho, when he caught a 15-yard TD pass with less than 12 minutes to go in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 27. Wyoming went on to win the game in overtime, 40-37.

Junior College: Berger was used mostly as a blocking tight end at Diablo Valley, but had five catches and one touchdown in his last season.

High School: Berger played his high school ball at San Ramon Valley High School. He was named the offensive MVP his senior year, the same year he tallied 42 catches for 758 yards in 10 games. Berger was the Contra Costa County Player of the Week his junior year for an eight-catch, 160-yard performance in which he caught the game-winning TD. He played for head coach Mark Kessler.

Personal: Born Nov. 22, 1991, Berger has twin siblings, Sydney and Kendall. He is pursuing a degree in sociology at UW.
