Career Stats Career Statistics Biography Summary Biography High School: Dameko Doddles was ranked as the No. 14 overall recruit in the state of Oklahoma by ESPN.com, and was rated as a three-star recruit by ESPN. He was also ranked as the No. 15 overall recruit in the state of Oklahoma by Rivals.com, and Rivals rates him as a three-star recruit. In July of 2014, he was ranked No. 24 on The Oklahoman's Super 30 recruiting rankings. He was named to the Tulsa World First Team All-State team for all classifications as a kick returner at the conclusion of the 2014 season. His senior season, he helped lead Douglass High School to the third round of the Class 3A State Playoffs as Douglass posted an 8-2 regular season record and a 5-1 record in District 2 of Class 3A. Douglass concluded the playoffs with a final record of 10-3. Doddles was a talented all-around player in high school. As a wide receiver, he caught 36 passes for 553 yards and six touchdowns in 2014. He also had nine rushing attempts for 57 yards. As a return specialist, he returned 12 punts for 160 yards -- good for a 13.3-yard average. He returned six kickoffs for 242 yards for a 40.3 yard average. He concluded the season with 1,013 all-purpose yards. In addition to his six receiving touchdowns, he returned one kickoff 96 yards for a TD and one fumble return 23 yards for a touchdown. His senior season, he was credited with 57 tackles, including 42 solo stops, one tackle for a loss, one interception, seven pass breakups, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery as a defensive back. Doddles versatility was further evidenced by him serving as his team's punter (30 punts for a 37.0 yard average) and place-kicker (37 PATs). He also was utilized on all five of Douglass High's successful two-point conversions, rushing for three two-point PATs and catching two others. In track and field, Doddles posted career best jumps of 6' 4" in the high jump and 22' 1/2" in the long jump his junior season. He finished sixth in the 2014 Oklahoma Class 4A State Track and Field meet, with a high jump of 6' 0", and third in the long jump with a jump of 21' 10". He played for head football coach Willis Alexander.Doddles was also offered a scholarship by TCU and was recruited by Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Tulsa.
