He will add depth to the secondary for UW. 2016: Makransky appeared in one game seeing time against BYU in the Poinsettia Bowl. He recorded one tackle against the Cougars.2015: Makransky appeared in eight games at cornerback for the Pokes earning two starts. In his first career start against North Dakota, he recorded a career-high eight tackles. He finished the season with 10 total tackles with six solo stops and four assisted tackles. He also added tackles against Colorado State and San Diego State. He was named to the Academic All-Conference team for his work in the classroom. 2014: Redshirted.
