Career Stats Career Statistics Biography Summary Biography UW This Season: Turner got valuable reps at the center position during spring drills. He is listed as the backup at the position. His versatility will bring depth to the Cowboy offensive line. 2016: Turner appeared in one game this season with the Cowboys on special teams.2015: Turner did not appear in any contests for the Cowboys. 2014: Redshirted. High School: Turner earned All-Conference honors his senior season, while helping guide his Xavier High School Saints to back-to-back appearances in the Iowa Class 4A state championship games in 2012 and 2013. Class 4A is the largest classification in the state of Iowa. His senior season, the Xavier Saints posted a 12-2 record, advancing to the state championship game before losing to Dowling High 13-44. His junior season, Xavier High finished with a 14-1 record and also concluded the season as runner-up for the 2012 Iowa Class 4A state championship, losing in the state championship game, 17-23, to Ankeny High. Also an outstanding prep wrestler, he ranked seventh in the state in the 285-pound weight category. Turner played for head coach Duane Schulte.
