Career Stats Career Statistics Biography Summary Biography High School: Joshua Clausen was named First Team All-State Class 3A by The Denver Post in 2014. He also was named First Team All-State Class 3A as a senior as presented by the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAANow.com), ColoradoPreps.com and MaxPreps.com. The CHSAA team was selected by Colorado high school coaches. Clausen concluded his high school career among the greatest receivers in the history of Colorado high school football. He ranks No. 4 all-time in Colorado history in career receiving yards (3,523), career receptions (171) and career receiving touchdowns (45). That ranking includes all players at all classifications of schools. Clausen averaged 20.6 yards per reception during his high school career, and he caught a TD pass every 3.8 receptions. His senior season, Clausen caught 58 passes for 1,211 yards, scored 19 touchdowns through the air, averaged 110.1 receiving yards per game and averaged 20.9 yards per reception. He ranked No. 6 in the state of Colorado in receiving yards in 2014, with 1,211. That ranking included all players in the state, regardless of size of school. Clausen helped lead Lutheran High to a 10-1 overall record and a 7-0 record in the Colorado 7 League to win the conference. Lutheran reached a high ranking of No. 1 in Class 3A in 2014 and entered the Class 3A State Playoffs as the No. 5 seed before losing in the First Round of the playoffs. As a junior, he caught 46 passes for 1,022 yards and scored nine receiving TDs, and as a sophomore he had 47 receptions for 951 yards and 14 touchdown receptions. He played for head coach football coach Blair Hubbard. Clausen also is an outstanding basketball player. Through the first 18 games of his senior season, he was averaging 15.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists for his Lutheran High team that was ranked No. 5 in the state in Class 3A with a 15-3 record.
