Career Stats Career Statistics Biography Summary Biography UW This Season: Lewis did not participate in spring drills after suffering an injury in December.2014: Lewis appeared in 11 games for the Cowboys. He finished the season with nine total tackles with five solo tackles and four assisted stops. He recorded a season-high three tackles against Colorado State.2013: Lewis made his way into the starting lineup for the last two games of the season for UW. He contributed 18 tackles and three pass breakups. He had three tackles versus Idaho and Utah State. He was named to the Academic All-Conference team for his work in the classroom.High School: Lewis was named the winner of the Denver Post's 2012 Gold Helmet Award, which signifies the state of Colorado's top senior football player, scholar and citizen each season. Lewis was named to the Post's All-Colorado team for all classifications, and the Post's Class 5A First Team as a safety. Lewis was ranked by 247Sports.com as the No. 20 recruit in the state of Colorado in 2012. He led Eaglecrest to a 7-5 record as a senior and the quarterfinals of the state playoffs. He was credited with 105 tackles, six forced fumbles and one interception in 2012. As a junior, Lewis made 85 tackles, forced five fumbles and intercepted one pass. His sophomore season, he was credited with 80 tackles and forced two fumbles. He was selected a team captain both his junior and senior seasons. An honor student for all four years of high school, Lewis was also honored by the National Football Foundation as a Colorado Scholar-Athlete his senior year. He ranked fifth academically in a class of 522 at Eaglecrest High School. He played for head coach Mike Schmitt.Personal: Born March 11, 1995, he is one of four children of Michelle and Quentin Lewis. Lewis was also recruited by Air Force and Colorado. He is pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering at UW.
