Biography

UW This Season: Chase Roullier returns to the offensive line this season after earning All-MW honors the previous two seasons. He earned second team as a junior and honorable mention as a sophomore.  He has 28 career starts for the Pokes and will once again be the top blocker on the offensive line for the Cowboys. 

2015: Roullier was named All-Mountain West for the second-straight season garnering Second Team Honors. He started all 12 games for the Pokes at left guard. Rated by Pro Football Focus as one of the Top 10 graded offensive or defensive linemen in the nation in 2015, and rated by PFF as the No. 1 overall graded offensive guard in the nation and the No. 9 overall offensive or defensive lineman based on film graded by PFF.  He had only one penalty called on him in the 740 plays he participated in for the 2015 season. A key blocker in helping Wyoming running back Brian Hill rank No. 9 in the nation in total rushing yards (1,631) and set a single season Wyoming rushing record. He was named to the Academic All-Conference team for the third time for his work in the classroom. 

2014: Roullier earned Honorable Mention All-Mountain West honors at left guard starting all 12 games for the Cowboys. He help the Cowboy offense record 694 yards of total offense against Fresno State, which included a season-high 374 rushing yards. He was named to the Academic All-Conference team for the second time for his work in the classroom. 

2013: Playing in 10 games, Roullier made his way into the starting lineup for the last three contests of the season. He helped bulldoze a path in the Hawai’i game, when the Cowboys had 295 rushing yards. He showed versatility, playing at the center and guard spot. He was named to the Academic All-Conference team for his work in the classroom. 

2012: Redshirted. 

High School: Roullier earned First Team Associated Press All-State honors as an offensive lineman his senior season, and was named Honorable Mention All-State as a defensive lineman. He was ranked by ESPN as the No. 15 recruit at all positions in the state of Minnesota in 2011. Roullier was also honored by the Minnesota Football Coaches Association as an Academic All-State selection. The Minneapolis Star-Tribune named him to its First Team All-Metro team. Roullier was voted the South Suburban Conference Lineman of the Year. He was one of the final 25 nominees for Minnesota’s Mr. Football award. Roullier started three years at Burnsville High. Burnsville played in Class 5A, the largest classification in Minnesota. As a defensive lineman, he was credited with 60 tackles, four sacks and eight tackles for loss as a senior. He was voted a team captain both his junior and senior seasons. Roullier also was a three-year basketball letterman. He played for head football coach Tyler Krebs.

Personal: Born Aug. 23, 1993, he is the son of DeeAnn and Mark Roullier. He has one older sister, Brienne. He was also recruited by Akron, Columbia, Minnesota, Princeton, Toledo, Western Michigan and Wisconsin. He is pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering at UW.
