After his Cherry Creek team fell behind by a score of 24-17, Parker again made a key play rushing 29 yards on a reverse to set up the Bruins inside Valor Christian’s 30-yard line. Cherry Creek went on to score a touchdown and successfully converted a two-point conversion to win the state title 25-24. In addition to football, Parker ran track and qualified for the 2014 5A State Championships in the 100-meter dash. Parker played for head coach Dave Logan at Cherry Creek High School.
