Career Stats Career Statistics Biography Summary Biography UW This Season: Norman finished his spring campaign as the No. 3 Z receiver on the final depth chart.2013: In 10 games over the season, Norman had five catches for 81 yards, averaging 16 yards per snag. His best game came against New Mexico when he had two grabs for 49 yards.2012: Norman played in 11 games, starting three. He was sixth on the team with 18 catches for 228 yards. He had more than 40 yards receiving in three games this season - Toledo (50), Colorado State (44) and a career-high 79 versus UNLV. Against the Rebels, Norman had a career day with six grabs for 79 yards.2011: Norman played in all 13 games for the Cowboys as a true freshman. As a receiver he had two receptions for 14 yards. After an injury to kick returner Ghaali Muhammad eight games into the season, Norman stepped in and averaged 20 yards per kick return. His best returns of 48 and 24 yards came in the 31-10 victory over New Mexico on Nov. 19.High School: Norman was named the District 15-3A Offensive MVP as a high school quarterback his senior year at Liberty-Eylau High School in Texarkana, Texas. He also earned all-area offensive honors. He rushed for 830 yards, passed for 758 and had 125 yards in kickoff returns, while scoring 25 touchdowns as a senior. He led Liberty-Eylau to an 8-3 record in 2010 and the first round of the state playoffs. His junior season, Norman accounted for more than 800 all-purpose yards and 11 TDs. A multi-sport athlete, Norman earned first team all-district honors in basketball as a junior as part of a team that posted a 34-6 record and advanced to the regional finals. He also was a regional finalist in the 200-meter dash in track and field his junior year, and earned Texas All-State honors in track. He played for head football coach Pat Brady.Personal: Born May 22, 1993, he is the son of Sharon Mitchell and Therlow Norman and he has one sister, Sherell. Norman was also recruited by Kansas and Memphis. He is pursuing a degree in communications at UW.
