She earned her first All-MW honor of her career at the conference championships finishing seventh in the 200 breast with a time of 2:18.22. She also had an excellent meet against Northern Colorado and Colorado School of Mines finished in the top five of three events. Her best finish came in the 200 breast taking second with a time of 2:27.33. She finished the 100 breast with a time of 1:09.46 which was good enough for third place, while finishing the 200 individual medley in fourth with a time of 2:16.48. In the final dual of the season against Colorado State, she took first in the 200 breast with a time of 2:22.81. She earned her third Cowgirl letteraward.Sophomore: (2010-11): Swirzicki again competed well for the Cowgirls during her sophomore season. She saw action at the Mountain West Championships in the 200 breaststroke where she placed 14th with a time of 2:20.87. During the regular season, she placed first in the 200 backstroke and 200 breast once each and also recorded a third-place finish in the 200 breast. She took first place in the 200 breast against Air Force and placed third against UNLV. She took home first place in the 200 back against Mesa State. She earned her second letter award for the Cowgirls.Freshman: (2009-10): Swirzcki had a successful freshman campaign for the Cowgirls, competing in the 100 and 200 breaststroke. Swirzcki placed in the top 15 in the 100 breast at the Mountain West Conference Championships. She also recorded four top-five finishes in both the 100 and 200 breast during her freshman season.High School: Swirzcki was an All-Conference selection in 2005 through 2008. She was also an All-State selection 2006 through 2008. Under head coach Phil Rehard, Swirzcki was on the Campbell County High School State Championship team 2005-08 and was the state individual champion in two events in 2007. Swirzcki also swam for the Gillette Gator Swim team that has won 13 consecutive state titles as a team. Academically, she was on the honor roll all four years of high school and was named a High School Academic All-America in 2007.Personal: She was born on Jan. 19, 1991 in Gillette, Wyo. She is the daughter of Mary and John Swirzcki and has two brothers, Matt and Aric.
