She earned All-Mountain West honors in three events, finishing in the top eight of two individual events and one relay. Her best finish at the MW Championships came with the 400 medley relay team, taking third place with a time of 3:38.88. Individually she finished two events in the top eight. In the 400 individual medley she placed fifth with a time of 4:20.02. She finished the 200 butterfly in seventh place with a time of 2:01.80. For her effort in all three events she earned All-Mountain West honors. In the final dual meet of the season against Colorado State, Badaracco took first place in the 200 fly (2:08.24) and in the 200 IM (2:09.38). At the Houston Cougar Classic, she earned three top-10 finishes in the same three events as the conference championships. In the 400 medley relay, she helped the team to third place (3:44.63). In the individual events she finished the 400 IM in seventh (4:29.18) and sixth in the 200 fly (2:05.03).Sophomore: (2010-11): Badaracco competed very well for the Cowgirls in her sophomore season. She recorded four top-10 finishes at the Mountain West Championships. Her best finish came in the 400 medley relay, where she and her teammates placed second with a time of 3:38.62. She earned her first All-MW award for her finish in the 400 medley relay. In the 200 and 400 individual medley at conference, she placed eighth and sixth, respectively. Her fourth top-10 finish came in the 200 butterfly where she placed eighth with a time of 2:03.61. During the regular season she took home first in the 500 freestyle against Air Force and the 200 IM against San Diego State. She earned her second-consecutive letter award for the Cowgirls.Freshman: (2009-10): Badaracco competed for the Cowgirls in the 200 medley relay, 100 butterfly and the 200 individual medley. She recorded a top-15 finish at the MW Championships in the 200 IM with a time of 2:08.17. She also recorded a second-place finish in the 200 butterfly during the North Dakota and South Dakota triangular.High School: Badaracco earned All-Conference and All-State honors all four years of high school. She was a team captain for two years and lettered all four years in swimming. Badaracco broke seven school records at Platte Canyon High School throughout her high school career. She placed in the top 16 at the state meet her freshman year, and top eight in her sophomore through senior years. Badaracco also swam for the Denver University Hilltoppers Club team. The team placed second at the 2009 sectional meet. Academically she was on the honor roll all four years and graduated with academic honors.Personal: She was born Feb. 11, 1991, in Warwick, N.Y. She is the daughter of Michelle and Joe Badaracco and has one older sister, Jaime.
