At the UNC-CSM triangular, she recorded one individual top 10 and helped one relay to a top-10 finish. In the 200 freestyle she finished seventh with a time of 2:00.08 and she helped the 200 freestyle relay to a third-place finish with a time of 1:40.91. During winter training at the Citrus Classic, Cox recorded two top-10 finishes and one top-15 finish. Her top-10 finishes came in the 200 and 500 free, taking ninth in both, with times of 1:59.33 and 5:28.95, respectively.University of Idaho: Cox swam one season at the University of Idaho before transferring to UW. She swam middle-distance freestyle for the Vandals.High School: Cox had an excellent high school swimming career at Dakota Ridge HS in Littleton, Colo. She was a four-year league champion and earned All-Jeffco league honors all four years of high school. Cox was given the senior athlete of the year award in 2010. Cox was an excellent student at Dakota Ridge and earned Gold Honor Roll all four years of school. For two years of high school she was named Scholastic All-America.Personal: Cox was born on May 8, 1992 in Denver, Colo. She is the daughter of Tom and Catherine Cox.
