He swam in three events for the Pokes at the conference championships. He posted three personal-best times in the 50-yard freestyle, 100 and 200 backstroke. His best finish came in the 200 backstroke placing 16th with a time of 1:51.78. He took 19th in the 100 back with a time of 51.94. His third personal-best time came in the 50 free when he swam a 21.98. At the Houston Cougar Classic, he placed eighth in the 200 backstroke (1:57.27). He also swam with the 200 medley and 800 freestyle relay teams. He helped the 200 medley relay team to a fifth-place finish (1:37.35) and the 800 free team to a sixth-place finish (7:07.14). His best meet came during winter training at the Citrus Classic when he recorded two second-place finishes in the 100 back (56.59) and 200 back (2:04.08). Bradford earned his first Cowboy letter award.High School: Bradford was a four-time letter winner at Liberty High School in Colorado Springs, Colo. He was the school-record holder in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:44.42. Bradford was also a member of Liberty's record 200 freestyle relay team. Bradford had a breakout meet at this spring's USA Swimming's Speedo Sectional Championships in Federal Way, Wash. He posted a junior national qualifying time in the 200 backstroke and had a very strong 100 back swim as well. Bradford also excelled in the classroom in high school, graduating as a member of National Honor Society.Personal: Bradford is the son of Jeffery and Anne Bradford. He was born Nov. 22, 1992. He has one older brother, Phillip and one younger brother, Aaron. He was born in Colorado Springs, Colo.
