Career Stats Career Statistics Biography Summary Biography 2012: Reese was a very productive member of the Cowboy defense in 2012. He was sixth on the team with 53 tackles, but really shined in the turnover department. Reese led all Cowboys with three interceptions for 127 yards. He added six pass breakups and 1.5 tackles for loss. The last four games of the season were a great stretch for Reese. He had nine, 11, nine and 12 tackles in those four games, respectively, and two interceptions for 77 yards. Against San Diego State in the season finale, Reese had 12 tackles and one interception return for 57 yards. 2011: Reese was one of several true freshman to see significant time on the Cowboy special forces units. On the season he had 12 tackles and one forced fumble in 13 games. Against TCU, he made four tackles and followed it up with three tackles the next week against Air Force. He forced the first fumble of his career and made two tackles on Nov. 26 against Boise State. High School: Reese was named Honorable Mention All-State Class 5A by the Associated Press in 2010. He also was an All-District and All-East Texas selection. Reese was credited with 90 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, two sacks, eight pass breakups, three forced fumbles, three blocked field goals and one fumble recovery, which he returned for a touchdown. His junior year, he was named Second Team All-District 5A-11. He made 100 tackles, forced five fumbles, intercepted one pass, blocked one field goal and had one sack. His Tyler Lee High team posted a 7-5 record his junior season and advanced to the third round of the state playoffs. He also lettered in basketball as a senior. He played for head football coach Mike Owens. Personal: Born Jan. 13, 1993, he is the son of Tina and Rolando Reese and has one younger sister, Heavunli. His dad, Rolando, played football at the University of Tulsa. Reese was also recruited by Memphis, New Mexico, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech. He is pursuing a degree in communications at UW.
