Hometown Biography Summary Biography Freshman (2015-16): Schatz saw limited time in the pool during her first campaign with the Cowgirls. Against CSU in the Border War meet, she competed in the 200 free (1:59.29) and the 500 free (5:26.32).Schatz claimed eighth in the 1,000 free against Denver in early January with a time of 11:18.93. To close out her rookie season, she took part in the 200 free (1:59.34) and the 500 free (5:20.25) in the double-dual against NAU and Air Force. High School: Schatz is a two-time Swimmer of the Year award winner and was a member of a CIF Championship team during her freshman season at Esperanza High School. She swam for Brian Pajer with the Aquazots Swim Club. She also excels in the classroom, having been named to the Principal's Honor Roll all four years of high school. Personal: Mandy is the daughter of Rob Schatz and Jennifer Lamarra and has one older sister, Jen. Her uncle, Gene Schatz, was on the rodeo team at the University of Wyoming. She plans on majoring in Business.
