Hometown Biography Summary Biography Sophomore (2016-17): Helped UW defeat UNLV in January 2017 by placing fourth in the 400 IM with a time of 4:39.41… Placed sixth in the 200 butterfly with a 2:13.68 against UNLV… Competed in the 2017 American Short Course Championships in helping UW rank 16th out of 30… swam a personal best in the 200 butterfly, 200 IM, and the 400 IM at the 2017 American Short Course Championships. Freshman (2015-16): Crane had limited action in the pool for the Cowgirls this season. She swam in the double-dual against Air Force and Northern Arizona and also against Border War rival Colorado State. In the double-dual, Crane took part in the 100 fly (1:02.18) and the 200 IM (2:15.19), while against CSU she swam in the 100 (1:02.41) and the 200 fly (2:19.39). High School: Crane is from Bremerton, Wash and is a very versatile swimmer who qualified for the Washington State Meet in every event except diving. Her best events are the butterfly and the individual medley. She lettered all four years at Klahowya High School. Her junior and senior year she led her high school team, as a Team captain. Her senior year she place second in the 200 individual medley, and fifth in the 100 butterfly at the state meet. Personal: She is the daughter of Kevin and Kim Crane, and has one sister, Kira. She also earned an Olympic League Scholar Athlete award. She is majoring in international relations.
