Sophomore (2016-17): Sether's successful season culminated with three personal-best races at the 2017 WAC Championships...recorded a time of 55.70 in the 100 breaststroke to place 12th...his time of 1:59.66 in the 200 breaststroke was enough for eighth overall...clocked a 1:52.05 in the 200 individual medley to place 21st...had more top finishes of the season at the Colorado Mesa Invitational, where he placed second in the 100 breaststroke (57.15) and the 200 individual medley (1:54.32). Freshman (2015-16): With a time of 56.75, he finished 16th overall in the 100 breast at the WAC Championships, in addition to placing 12thin the 200 breast (2:02.26)…took fifth place in the 200 breast against Air Force with a time of 2:08.03. He then placed tenth in the same event at the Purdue Invite (2:04.09)…helped UW upset No. 14 Utah with a fifth-place finish in the 200 breast (2:07.21), just before taking second against Pac-12 member Arizona State (2:05.54). High School: Joined the Cowboys after a very successful high school career at Century High School in Bismarck, N.D…as a senior, he broke his own record in the 200 IM at the state championships…finished with a 1:53.81 to claim the record…was also a part of the record setting 400 free relay team at the state championships.
