She took third on the platform at the MW Championships with a score of 248.70. In addition, Bishop finished ninth (289.75) and 16th (258.70) on the 3-meter. Bishop was named the MW Diver of the Week on Oct. 27 after an outstanding weekend helping guide the Cowgirls to two dual victories against New Mexico State and New Mexico. She won the 1 meter-springboard against New Mexico State with a score of 271.05 before finishing in third place in the 3-meter event. Her mark in the 1-meter had qualified her for NCAA Zone “E” Championships. Against New Mexico, Bishop won the 3-meter competition with a final mark of 255.45 and also claimed second on the 1-meter. She finished fourth (259.05) on the 1-meter in the double-dual with NAU and LSU, before two third place finishes against Colorado State. In helping UW to it’s first-ever victory over a Pac-12 member, Bishop placed third on both the 1-meter (262.05) and 3-meter (256.88). She closed out the second day of NCAA Zones with a 48th place finish in the 3-meter event and a score of 226.10 for the Cowgirls. Bishop ended her junior season with a 23rd place finish in the platform event at Zones. Sophomore (2014-15): Bishop was an All-MW honoree in the 1-meter springboard and platform. She finished eighth at the MW Championships in the 1-meter diving event while her preliminary results became a school record. Bishop intended to compete at NCAA Zone "E" Championships but did not participate due to illness. Bishop finished second, behind teammate Kari Campbell in both boards against Denver, including a score of 283.65 on the 1-meter. She brought home the 1-meter springboard crown with an impressive mark of 244.05 against Cal Poly. She placed second on the 1-meter springboard with a tally of 275.92 in the dual with New Mexico State. Bishop ultimately qualified for the NCAA Zones with a tally of 268.95 on the 1-meter springboard against CSU. At the Wyoming Diving Invite, Bishop finished second on the 1-meter springboard with a tally of 235.90 and fourth on the 3-meter springboard event with a score of 210.40. She also finished ninth at the Air Force Invite on the 3-meter springboard, with a tally of 277.70. Freshman (2013-14): Bishop became a big part of the Wyoming diving group during her first season with the program. She qualified for the for the NCAA Zone "E" Diving Championships competing on all three-boards. Her top finish at the Zone Diving Championship came in the 3-meter event finishing in 31st place with a score of 256.10. At the Mountain West Championship her top finish came on the 1-meter springboard, as she finished 24th with a tally of 210.39. Bishop's career-best on the 3-meter springboard came against Colorado State recording an impressive 291.30. Her career-best on the 1-meter event came against Denver recording a 250.80. High School: Bishop joins the Cowgirls from Citipointe Christian College in Carindale, Queensland, Australia. She competed in the springboard and platform diving events at Citipointe Christian College. Personal: Bishop was born on March 24, 1995 in New Zealand. She is the daughter of Brian and Susanne McGinley and has two younger sisters Mikayla and Cassie. She plans to major in energy management and resource development at UW.
