Hometown Biography Summary Biography Junior (2016-17): McKivigan capped off a successful junior season with three career-best times at the 2017 Mountain West Championships... Her time of 23.46 in the 50 freestyle placed her 24th... Her mark of 50.97 in the 100 freestyle was good enough for 19th... Her top finish came in the 200 freestyle, where she placed 10th with a time of 1:49.42... Her two race victories of the year came against New Mexico, in the 100 freestyle (53.46) and the 200 freestyle (1:56.45)... Placed in the top 14 in the 50, 100 and 200 freestyle at the Mizzou Invitational. Sophomore (2015-16): McKivigan took part in a number of meets for the Cowgirls during her sophomore season. She opened the year against New Mexico State, and placed third (1:55.27) in the 200 free and fourth (54.19) in the 100 free. Against NAU and LSU, she took fourth (59.54) in the 100 free and sixth in the 200 free (2:08.58), just before taking second in the 200 free (1:57.04) on senior night against CSU.  Freshman (2014-15): McKivigan was part of the 200 free relay team that took home a victory against Colorado State with a time of 1:34.35. She also finished fourth in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:56.17. Against New Mexico State, she took second in the 50 freestyle with a time of 24.15, as she finished behind teammate Melanie McDonough. Competing against New Mexico, McKivigan placed seventh in the 200 free with a time of 1:59.07. In the dual with New Mexico, she finished seventh in the 200 freestyle with a final time of 1:57.81. She had a fifth place finish in the 50 freestyle against Air Force as well as a seventh place finish in the 200 freestyle.  High School: Graduate of F.W. Buchholz High School. During her senior season she was named team captain and MVP. McKivigan also earned City, district and regional championships, as well as placing third in the state in the 100 freestyle and seventh in the state in the 200 freestyle. She also earned the Team Spirit Award during her sophomore and junior seasons. Excelled in the classroom as a member of National Honor Society.
