Career Record
2016-17: Redshirted

2016-17: Olson took part in three open tournaments during his redshirt season wearing the Brown and Gold. He took second place at the Cowboy Open, only falling to teammate Montorie Bridges, then finished in fourth at the Bob Smith Open before a first-place finish at the UNK Holiday Open. Olson posted three pins during the season with two tech falls. He totaled a 14-3 record during the three open tournaments. He also took part in the UWW Junior Nationals this past April and compiled a 3-2 record competing at 60 KG.

High School: Olson was a Wyoming High School Champion as a freshman at Campbell County High School. He was also a two-time Pennsylvania Prep State Champion at Wyoming Seminary Prep School in Kingston, Penn. Additionally, Olson was a Prep National runner-up in 2014 and 2015. He was also an Eastern States runner-up in 2015.

Personal: Olson was born in Rapid City, S.D., and is the son of Bill and Tracy Olson. He has an older brother, Tanner, who wrestles at Northern State University in Aberdeen, S.D. Olson is studying marketing at UW.
