2016-17: Gordon took part in four open tournaments in addition to one dual during the 2016-17 season. Gordon went 3-4 overall during both the Cowboy and UNC Open before claiming the title at the Northwest Open. He went 3-0 with two majors to secure the top honor. He also went 3-2 at the Bob Hope Open before competing against Jack Kuck of Northern Colorado for the lone dual action for Gordon. He posted a 10-7 mark with three majors and one pin during 2016-17.
2015-16: Gordon finished his first season wearing the brown and gold with a 9-8 overall record with three falls. He saw action in four separate open tournaments, as he competed in the Cowboy Open, UNK Holiday Inn Open, Bob Smith and Utah Valley Open. 
High School: He is a graduate of Belen High School in Belen, N.M. Gordon was a New Mexico state champion at heavyweight as a junior, pinning all four opponents on his way to the title and a record of 46-3. He finished fourth at the state championship his junior season. His pin in the finals pushed Belen to a second-place finish in the team race. Gordon is a fourt-time high school state placer. He also excelled on the football field as an All-State offensive tackle in football. He also excelled in the classroom as a member of National Honor Society. 
Personal: He was born on August 8, 1996. He is the son of Andrew and Kimberly. He plans on majoring in petroleum engineering at UW.
