2018-19: Recorded an 8-7 overall record in his final season as a Cowboy, winning two of his three dual starts … Four of his eight wins came by fall … Recorded nine dual points for the Pokes … Won his final dual appearance, defeating South Dakota State’s Gregory Coapstick, 9-6, on Senior Day … Also appeared at the Cowboy Open, Northern Colorado Open and Bob Smith Open.

2017-18: Went 2-7 overall as a junior, with a fall and major decision … Took fourth at the Utah Valley Open … Also competed at the UNK Holiday Inn Open and Cowboy Open.

2016-17: George did not wrestle during the 2016-17 season. 

2015-16: George took part in three open tournaments during his redshirt freshman season. He competed in the Northern Colorado Open, the UNK Holiday Inn Open and the Utah Valley Open. George made his lone appearance in UW’s lineup against Utah Valley in February.

2014-15: George posted a 5-10 record for the Cowboys during his redshirt freshman campaign. For the season, George earned wins via pin in three matches and also earned one technical fall. 

High School: George was a two-time state runner-up and three-time state qualifier in Utah. He was an All-Star team member as a junior and senior. As a senior, he was second at state and won his weight class at the divisional championships. He also was the state runner-up as a junior and placed second in the divisional title bout. In freestyle, he was sixth as a senior at FILA Nationals in Greco. As a junior, he finished third in Junior Greco-Roman nationals and fourth in Greco-Roman and freestyle at FILA Junior Nationals. He placed sixth in freestyle nationals as a sophomore. 

Personal: George was born in Bountiful, Utah, to Todd and Lisa George. He has three siblings: Colt, Levi and Erin. His father played collegiate baseball. The younger George also received recruiting interest from Western State Colorado.
