Hometown Biography Summary Biography Honors: Cross Country Academic All-Mountain West (2019) 2019-20 Cross Country: Competed in all five races for the Cowgirls during the season… Placed 108th overall and seventh for the Cowgirls at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships… Finished 60th overall and seventh for the Cowgirls at the Mountain West Championships… Her best finish came at the Wyoming Invite, where she placed 33rd overall and fifth for the Cowgirls… Earned academic all-MW honors. Indoor Track & Field: Ran a career-best 3,000m in 11:02.69 at the Air Force Invite… Had a career-best 5,000m time of 18:45.43 at the Air Force Open… Also ran a 5,000m race at the Colorado Invite, finishing in 18:50.09. Outdoor Track & Field: Cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.  2018-19 Cross Country: Competed in one race during the season… Placed 125th at the Greeno/Dirksen Invitational, which was ninth among Cowgirls. Indoor Track & Field: Ran the 5,000m at the Colorado Invite, posting a personal best time of 19:00.94. Outdoor Track & Field: Ran the 5,000m three times, with a personal best mark coming at the Tom Benich Invite at 18:00.43.  High School: Was a two-time all-region honoree in cross country, and helped lead the cross country team to two Division III state titles… Recorded a seventh-place finish at the regional cross country meet and a 15th-place finish at the state meet in 2017… Was a team caption of the track and field team her junior and senior seasons… Was a part of the 4x400-meter relay team that were named state champs in 2017… In 2018, was the second-place finisher in the 1,600 meters and fourth-place finisher in the 3,200 meters at the regional meet… Was a member of the honor roll all four years… Member of the National Honors Society the final three years and was the NHS Vice President… Was voted in as the Junior Class President.  Personal: Daughter of Matthew and Ermenia Tenpenny… Has one younger brother.
