Indoor Track & Field: Ran a career-best 200m time of 22.28 at the Texas Tech Shootout… Ran a season-best 60m dash of 7.16 at the CSM Alumni Meet… Ran the season-best 400m for any Cowboy of 49.27 at the Colorado Invite… Part of the 4x400m relay team that placed sixth at the Mountain West Championships with a time of 3:16.69, a time that is No. 10 on the Wyoming list… Finished 16th at the Mountain West Championships in the 400m with a time of 49.60.
Outdoor Track & Field: Cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Indoor Track & Field: Was a part of the all-Mountain West 4x400m relay team that placed second with a time of 3:15.21, which is the No. 7 time in Cowboy history… Finished sixth in the 400m at the MW Championships with a time of 49.58… Had a career-best 400m time of 49.14 at the Colorado Invite (2/2) where he placed 13th… Ran the 55m at the Power Meet (12/7) in a career-best time of 7.15, placing seventh… Ran the 200m in a career-best time of 22.44 at the Texas Tech Shootout (2/9) to placed 38th
Outdoor Track & Field: Ran the 4x100m relay twice, with his best time coming at the MW Championships, where his team placed fifth in 42.13… Earned academic all-MW honors.

2017-18
Indoor Track & Field: Ran on the distance medley relay team that posted the fourth-best time in school history, 9:57.11, at the Mountain West Indoor Championships to place sixth… Posted a career-best 60m time, 7.17, at the Power Meet to place fifth… Had a career-best time in the 200m, 22.86, at the CU Invitational to place 29th… Ran a career-best 50.45 400m race at the MW Indoor Championships to place 13th… Was a part of three 4x400m relay teams, including the season’s best time of 3:17.19 at the MW Indoor Championships to place fourth.
Outdoor Track & Field: Ran a career-best 100m time of 11.19 at the 7220 Invite… ran a career-fast 200m time of 22.29 at the 7220 Invite to place fourth… Posted a career-best time in the 400m of 50.66 at the PC Intercollegiate to place 11th… Competed on the 4x100m relay team that placed fourth at the MW Outdoor Championships with a time of 41.45… Ran on two 4x400m relay teams, with his best time coming at the Jerry Quiller Classic, 3:16.42… In the classroom, earned academic all-MW honors.

High SchoolFour year letter-winner in track & field at Oregon City High School, where he was coached by Wayne Harris…in 2017, helped his team to a track & field state championship while taking second place in the state in the 400 meters to earn all-state honors…three-time conference champion in the 400 meters, one-time conference champion in the 200 meters and two-time conference champion in the relay events…earned all-state honors in 2015 as part of his school’s state-championship 4x100-meter relay squad…named track & field team MVP in 2014 and 2015 and Most Inspirational in 2016 and 2017…competed in the 2017 Junior Olympics national event in the 200 meters, 400 meters and 4x100-meter relay…academically, received the Presidential Award in 2017.

Personal: Son of Joe and Tammy Harthun…has two older sisters…sister Sam played volleyball at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks…intends to major in kinesiology & health promotion at UW.
