Sophomore (2015-16): Guenther took part in a number of events for Wyoming throughout her sophomore campaign. She placed fifth in the 1,000 free (11:00.62) against Border War rival Colorado State. She then recorded a time of 10:54.30 in the 1,000 free in the double-dual with Air Force and NAU. Guenther closed out her season competing against UNLV and Nevada. She claimed fourth place in the 500 free with a time of 5:06.67 and took fifth in the 1,000 with a 10:33.01. Freshman (2014-15): Guenther saw limited action for the Cowgirls during the season. Against Denver, she finished first in the 200 freestyle and also placed third in the 500 freestyle with a final time of 5:22.27. Against Border War rival CSU, Guenther finished seventh in the 200 freestyle. She also finished seventh in the 1,000 freestyle event during the dual with Air Force and came away with a fourth-place finish in the 1,000 freestyle against New Mexico. In the dual with New Mexico State, Guenther finished fourth in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:59.57. High School: Graduate of Marcus High School. She was a district finalist and regional qualifier. She was named the Rookie of the Year after her freshman season. Guenther was named to the National Team in 2012. She competed at 2013 US Sectionals, where she clocked a 2:07.48 in 200 freestyle, as well as 4:26.67 in 400 freestyle. She competed at 2013 US Summer Junior Nationals in Irvine, California.
