Career record
2014-15: Redshirted
2015-16: 7-4 (2 falls)
2016-17: 8-4 (2 falls)

2016-17: Eagan competed in the Cowboy Open where he picked up three wins and took third-place in the UNC Open for the Brown and Gold. He also fought hard against #15 Collin Jensen of Nebraska in his lone dual action of 2016-17. Before injury, Eagan posted an 8-4 mark with two pins, two majors and one tech fall.  

2015-16:
Eagan took part in three open tournaments on the season. He began the year with the Northern Colorado Open with a first-place finish and two pins. He then went on to compete in the Cowboy Open before taking fourth in the UNK Holiday Inn Open. He ended his redshirt campaign with a 7-4 record. 

2014-15:
Eagan wrestled in numerous opens in his redshirt season. He finished the season with a 9-10 record with one pin and one major decision. He placed fourth at the Cowboy open going 4-2 

High School:
Eagan was a solid competitor throughout his high school career, posting 129 wins over four seasons. As a senior, he went 43-4 at 220 pounds. His junior season, he was 40-5 and placed fifth in a tough field at the New York state championships at 220 pounds. That same season, he was the Greco-Roman state champion and was third in freestyle. As a heavyweight his first two seasons, he went 33-10 and a sophomore and 13-10 as a freshman. In the classroom, he earned National AP Scholar status and attended Boys State. 

Personal:
Eagan was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and he is the son of Barry and Kate Eagan. He comes from a very athletic and academically sound lineage - his father Barry played hockey at Princeton, two of his uncles played hockey at Yale and one uncle played hockey at Harvard. He is pursuing a degree in history at UW. He received recruiting interest from Maryland, Buffalo, Binghamton and Edinboro.
