2016-17: Elliott competed in four tournaments during the 2016-17 season. He won the Northwest Open before taking third at the Bob Smith Open. Elliott also went 4-2 at the Reno Tournament of Champions in Las Vegas. He closed out the year with a stellar 22-6 record for the Brown and Gold.
2015-16: Elliott began the year competing in the Cowboy Open just before seeing action in Wyoming’s lineup against Nebraska and Iowa State. In late December, Elliott took part in the Reno Tournament of Champions and then closed out the season in the Southern Scuffle. He ended the year with a 6-8 record with one fall.
2014-15: Elliott had a breakout season with the Cowboys. He ended the season with a 21-11 record going 6-4 in dual matches. He finished the season with one pin and one technical fall to go along with two major decisions. He opened the season with eight straight wins. Winning the Northwest open and finishing second at the Cowboy open. He also placed fourth at the Reno Tournament of Champions.
2012-13: Redshirting in his first season with the program, Elliott wrestled in six tournaments at 149 pounds. He went 18-11 with four pins and four major decisions. He won four bouts in the Cowboy Open and was victorious six times in the Fort Hays Bob Smith Open. He capped off the year with a third-place showing at the Utah Valley Open. Elliott was unbeaten versus WWC foes, going 2-0 over the season. He finished his season at FILA Junior Nationals in Las Vegas in April, going 1-2 at 66 kilograms (145.4 pounds).
High School: Elliott lettered in wrestling all four years of high school for Oakmont, and he was a multiple honoree on the mat. He won the California state title as a junior, and was an All-League, All-Division and All-State honoree in his junior and senior seasons. He was an NHSCA All-America honoree and ASICS/Vaughan Junior and Cadet National Championships All-America recipient as a senior, considered one of the toughest high school events in the nation.
Personal: Elliott is the son of Stuart and Kimberly Elliott. He has two siblings, Brock and Morgan. He has not decided on a major at UW. He also received interest from Cal Poly, Oklahoma State, Boise State and Northern Iowa.
