TRACK AND FIELD:

2017-18: During the indoor season, recorded the fastest 800m time for the Cowboys with a mark of 1:51.06 at the CU Invitational, and also won the event at the Powder River Dual… Ran a season-best 50.28 in the 400m at the Potts Invitational to place 14th… Ran on two 4x400m relay teams, running a season-best time of 3:17.19 at the Mountain West Indoor Championships to place fourth and won the event at the Powder River Dual with a time of 3:19.91… Finished 12th at the 800m at the MW Championships with a time of 1:55.52… In the outdoor season, ran the seventh-best 800m race in Cowboy history, 1:49.25, at the 7220 Invite to win the event… Was a part of every 4x400m relay team, with the season’s fastest time, 3:15.16, coming at the MW Outdoor Championships with a fourth-place finish, and also won the event at the Jerry Quiller Classic with a time of 3:16.42… Finished sixth at the MW Championships in the 800m with a time of 1:50.82… Competed in the 800m race at the NCAA West Preliminary and placed 31st with a time of 1:51.57… In the classroom, earned academic all-MW honors and was named a MW Scholar-Athlete.


2016-17: Had a brilliant season, collecting two All-MW honors while adding five UW all-time top 10 marks (three individual, two relays)… indoors, posted a third-place finish at the MW championships with a personal best time of 1:49.56, No. 4 on the UW all-time list…also earned All-MW honors on the Cowboys’ 4x400-relay team that set a program record with a time of 3:13.46…outdoors, won the 400 meters at the Fum McGraw Open with the No. 8 time on the UW all-time list, 47.80…competed on UW’s 4x400-meter relay team that posted the No. 4 mark in program history, 3:11.81, while winning the event at the Jack Christiansen Invite…posted three top-three finishes in the 800 meters before taking fifth at the MW outdoor championships with the No. 9 time on the UW all-time list, 1:49.46…advanced to the NCAA West Preliminary Round in the event, making it through the quarterfinal round and into the semifinal… earned Academic All-Conference and MW Scholar Athlete honors in the classroom.

2015-16: Was Wyoming’s top 800-meter runner during the outdoor season, posting a season-best time of 1:50.05 at the Utah Spring Classic…the time qualified him for the NCAA West Preliminary Round, where he finished 35th, 11 places above his seed, with a time of 1:51.68…recorded four top-five finishes in individual events during the indoor season… took 11th in the 800 meters at the MW indoor championships with a time of 1:53.58… helped Wyoming to a sixth-place finish in the 4x400-meter relay at the MW indoor championships… the team recorded a time of 3:16.71, which ranks eighth in outdoor program history… was a top-three finisher in the 800 meters four times during the outdoor season… took 12th in the 800 meters at the MW outdoor championships… was a member of Wyoming’s sixth-place 4x400-meter relay team at the MW outdoor championships… earned Academic All-Conference honors in the classroom after posting a 3.36 GPA.

CROSS COUNTRY:

2016-17: Competed at the Colorado State Invite, taking 131st overall in the 5K race with a time of 18:03. In the classroom, earned MW Scholar Athlete honors.

2015-16: Redshirted...did not compete during the cross country season.

Before Wyoming: One of the top 800-meter runners in the nation...ran his prep career for coach Bob Bingham at Dobyns-Bennett High School...as a senior won the state title in the 400 meters and was a member of the state champion 4x400-meter relay...as a junior also helped his school win the 4x400 title and was runner-up in the 800 meters...ranked as high as No. 26 in the nation in the 800...was 15th at the New Balance Outdoor Nationals in the 800 meters with a personal-best 1:52....also won races at the Sea Ray Relays, Beach Run, Tri-Cities Classic and Class AAA Sectional meet...owned a personal best of 48.9 in the 400 meters.

Personal: Son of Jim Ailshie and Luci Gage...father ran track and field at the University of Tennessee...has two brothers, Tyler and Eamon, and one sister, Nia...also recruited by Baylor, Iowa, Michigan, Indiana and Nebraska...has not declared a major at UW.
