2021-22 (Redshirt): Had a solid redshirt season starting the year by winning seven of his first eight matches… Capped off the year with a very impressive 6-4 win over Utah Valley starter Jacob Armstrong… Finished second at the UNK Open going 4-1 with two bonus point wins… Compiled a record of 2-2 at the Reno Tournament of Champions

2020-21: Saw a decent amount of mat time in his first season as a Poke tallying a record of 4-4 during the shortened season… Went 2-1 at the Air Force Individual matches getting the first two wins of his collegiate career… Opened his season with an impressive 14-2 major decision over Cole Phelps (AF)… Squared off against No. 5 ranked Demetrius Romero (UVU) at the UVU Round Robin Tournament
 
High School: Escobedo's senior season he won the Hacienda League Finals at 195 pounds, took home the CIF Southern Section Championship, won the CIF Masters and was the CIF State Wrestling Champion. Was named the SGV Tribune's Co-Wrestler of the Year.
