High School: Coming to Wyoming from Hawai'i, Pagurayan excelled in academics and athletics during his high school career... He was a three-time state finalist and two time state champion in wrestling... Was also a runner-up and state champion in judo... Graduated from Kapolei High School as valedictorian with Summa Cum Laude honors
