2021-22: Started in two duals for the Pokes in his Redshirt Sophomore season totaling seven wins on the year… Capped off his season with an impressive 3-2 win over Air Force starter Jared Van Vleet… Finished sixth at the UNK Open with a 3-3 record… Excelled in the classroom as well earning Big 12 All-Academic First Team honors.

2020-21: Appeared in five events for the Cowboys during the season…  Wrestled in his first Big 12 Championship Tournament… Finished third at the Cowboy Challenge Tournament… Recorded a pin against Graham Shore (AF) in a non-dual match… Was named to the Big-12 All-Academic first team

2019-20: Stacey appeared in three events during his redshirt season with the Cowboys and posted seven wins … went 4-1 with four falls while taking second place at the UNK Open.

High School: Stacey was three-time state champion (2016-18) … was a state finalist all four years of high school … was named the 2018 Idaho Wrestler of the Year … 2018 Post Register’s Wrestler of the Year … 2017 Lightweight of the Year … placed third at the 2016 Folkstyle Nationals

Personal: Darrick is the son Heath and Mandi Stacey. He was born in St. George, Utah and plans to major in English. Has four siblings: Melissa, Jacom, Kolton and Micklee.
